L to R: Jiayi (President of the Cambridge University Malaysian Society), Datuk Ong TK, Datuk Lee HB
Tengku Azela and I were the only two postgraduates who raised pertinent issues about the state of higher education in Malaysia to both Datuks. It was a very good 2-hour discussion.
Datuk Ong Tee Keat, Malaysia's Deputy Minister of Higher Education together with Datuk Lee Hwa Beng, Selangor State Assemblyman (Subang Jaya) came to Cambridge today. The pow-wow was held at the Gonville and Caius College. They had a heart-to-heart, face-to-face talk, whatever you call it, with students here.

wooo saw him in MSD london today!
lots of people + the chap go meh celebration... :)
I also went to MSD to see Ong Tee Keat yesterday, it was a short dialogue session and I was very impressed with the way he answered questions, very well thought through! An Educationist called Datuk Yunos (I hope I spelled his name correctly) raised some very fundamental questions that the politicians really need to think about!!
